Internationally recognized as one of the most influential chefs of our time (Icon Award 2023 / The World’s 50 Best Restaurants), Andoni Aduriz is dedicated to creativity, innovation, and fostering a dialogue between gastronomy and various fields of the Arts and Sciences. In 1998, he opened Mugaritz, a pioneering restaurant thanks to its bold, conceptual creative cuisine. It has been awarded with 2 Michelin stars and Mugaritz has been included among the world’s best restaurants for 14 consecutive years (World’s 50 Best Restaurants).
As one of the founders of the Basque Culinary Centre, he frequently gives lectures at top universities (Harvard, MIT), and his teaching on innovation and creativity in the master’s programme at the Madrid Culinary Campus (MACC) is a testament to his dedication to spreading knowledge and provoking thought about the food of the future.
