Athinagoras Kostakos became known to the Greek public as the winner of Top Chef. After graduating ‘Le Monde’, he continued his studies at the Italian Casta Alimenticata, and the French Ritz Escoffier and Alain Ducasse Formation.

He was a chef at “Bill and Coo” in Mykonos, and his modern Greek cuisine was awarded a Golden Toque. A turning point in his career was the internationally renowned Scorpios in Mykonos, followed by Noema Mykonos with a sharing food concept. His goal is to place Greek cuisine among the world’s top 3 gastronomic experiences, by creating dishes that express its truth and flavours. His activity as a culinary director spans 3 continents with 5 restaurants in America, 2 in Asia, and 7 in Europe. He has been honoured with over 50 awards in the last decade. At the Athens Gastronomic Forum, he will present the topic “Future Menus: The New Trends in Gastronomy,” based on research data from Unilever Food Solutions.
